The session focuses on the sales side of the market and draws on the experience and insight of five of the UK property market’s leaders, to build a landscape of the property market in the coming year and beyond, with Q&A to follow.
The session will examine the key issues arising from the soon-to-be passed legislation including higher fines for landlords and, by connection, agents too. This includes the expansion of rent repayment orders, further expanded to landlords who don’t join the new Ombudsman scheme. O
ur speakers will help agents understand the areas of risk for them, foresee the bear-traps and fill in some of the questions that the legislation currently leaves ‘blank’.
About the conference:
Through lively panel sessions and expert presentations, the conference will explore the issues facing independent estate agents, as we look ahead to 2025. A new legislative programme, regulation of the industry through the Renters' Rights Bill, new employment laws and increasingly sophisticated technology are the main themes, which will bring together politicians, industry leaders and specialists to offer a clear foundation for making critical business decisions.
